ECF PC Windows

 

The 183 WINDOWS 7 workstations are used for general-purpose computing. These computing facilities are provided to all students  for use in their academic purposes and as such students are advised to refrain from using the lab computers for sharing files, e.g., through peer-to-peer networks.

These systems are installed in the following four labs:

• 63 workstations in GB144        (MS Windows 7, Dell Optiplex 760)
• 58 workstations in GB150        (MS Windows 7, Dell Optiplex 990)
• 50 workstations in WB255       (MS Windows 7, Dell Optiplex 990)
• 12 workstations in SF1106       (MS Windows 7, Dell Optiplex 760)

The computers in the departmental labs are also connected to the ECFPC-Windows network and servers and they have identical image to the ECFPC computer labs mentioned above. Please check with your prospective department for locations and usage of these labs. Many of these labs are only restricted for use by students in the department only.

In addition to the labs mentioned above, students can remotely get access to their H: drive through the Remote ECFPC Workstations.
