As a professional Faculty, Engineering at U of T is here to help you gain experience in professional engineering through internships like PEY (12-16 months) and eSIP (four months in the summer, and new grad/full-time opportunities, which all work towards preparing you for a successful career after graduation. Additionally, all undergraduate students are required to gain 600 hours of professional experience to achieve graduation requirements.
You are lucky to have two Career Centres working for you:
- The Engineering Career Centre, focuses on preparing you for professional opportunities and with its extensive experience in career development and preparation, the Engineering Career Centre offers a series of small group workshops and individual appointments to assist with self-assessment, resume development, cover letter writing, interview preparation, and strategies for an effective job search, all of which are framed within an in-depth understanding of the world of work.
